Ocean Traveller Systems have been produced from 1992 to 2006 and feature recirculating balls or slide rods. They can be identified by grey anodised bodies with screwed on End Caps and integral control line sheaves in Cars and End Stops. The width of the Car body determines the size: Size 0 = 51mm Size 1 = 63mm Size 2 = 81mm Size 3 = 87mm
Ocean T-Track Genoa Systems
Ocean T-Track Genoa Systems feature similar styling as the Ocean Traveller Systems but all sizes use the same 32mm wide "T-Track" and are only available with slide rods. Car sizes can be identified by the length of the body: Size 1 = 111mm (or 124mm Stainless Steel Stirrup) Size 2 = 120/128mm (or 173mm Stainless Steel Stirrup) Size 2 = 147mm (Tri-Roller Car) Size 3 = 170mm
Ocean Racing Traveller Systems
They have been in production from 1994 to 2006 and feature solid machined bodies, finished in grey anodise and have the size engraved on the body. Control line sheaves feature roller bearings.
Solent Traveller Systems
Solent Traveller Systems were produced from 1985 (approx) to 1991 and had black alloy bodies, running on alloy or composite wheels with an I section track. Spares are no longer available
Solent T-Track Cars
Solent T-Track Cars were produced up to 1991. They can be identified by black bodies and red buffers. Spares are no longer available but current Ocean T-Track cars run on the same track.
X Track was produced in the early 1980s. Cars had black alloy bodies with 4 wheels, and ran on track with an X cross section. Spares are no longer available
Ocean Blocks with plastic sheaves are not serviceable.
Racing Blocks with sheaves 60mm diameter and above are serviceable and spares are available. The size of the block is engraved in the cheeks and it is important to identify if 60 and 80mm blocks have plastic low load sheaves or alloy high load sheaves.
